The Good Friday service begins at 7:30 p.m., intentionally late to coincide with sunset. The tone will be dark, the lights will be dim.
Pastor Rory Naeve remarks “We observe Good Friday because we have to be reminded of the darkness before we can truly appreciate the light. We must feel the burden of the cross before we can feel the freedom of the empty tomb. We must come to terms with our own betrayal before we can experience the fullness of redemption.”
